The winners of the VI edition of the IDEAS4WOOD Contest by Tabu

Submit your project

The VI edition of IDEAS4WOOD, the most important contest in the wood sector, with a strong educational focus, aimed at disseminating knowledge of wood and its valorisation in projects as a noble, living and renewable raw material, ended on 5 September with an exclusive awards ceremony in the Salone d’Onore of the Milan Triennale.

Promoted by Tabu – the Cantù-based company considered an international reference in natural wood dyeing and multilaminar wood technology – and sponsored by FederlegnoArredo, FSC® Italia and ADI, the international IDEAS4WOOD competition, in its sixth edition, gathered more than 500 projects submitted by 800 competitors from 20 different nationalities.

Once again this year, the contest counted on the media partnership of IQD and the presence of the ‘contest within the contest’ promoted by the main partner Carpanelli, a historic Brianza-based furniture company.

The evening opened with a greeting from the Lombardy Region’s Councillor for Universities, Alessandro Fermi: ‘As a Como native, I can only be very proud to see a company from our region implementing a project of this magnitude, unique in the world. But not only that, this Contest shows how the entrepreneurial drive of the territories translates into a cultural heritage and the will to pass on knowledge to the new generations’.
