Lugano Lifestyle, staged October 10-13, 2024, represents the evolution of the historic ARTECASA fair, bringing a breath of fresh air to the Canton Ticino’s event scene. This event aims to redefine the concept of “lifestyle,” combining art, design, furniture and gastronomy in an immersive and innovative experience. With artistic direction by the Klingenberg Arkitektur studio and a rich program of events, Lugano Lifestyle aims to become a benchmark for modern living.

Lugano Lifestyle is an event that represents the natural evolution of the historic ARTECASA trade fair, keeping its roots firmly in Lugano tradition, in the deep affection of the public and in the loyalty of the exhibitors. Lugano Lifestyle was born from the need to adapt to the changes of the modern world, offering a renewed and innovative fair experience, destined to become a point of reference in the panorama of events in the Canton of Ticino.

A NEW CONCEPT OF EVENT

Lugano Lifestyle stands out as a unique and innovative event, designed to broaden the concept of ‘lifestyle’ and present a diversified offer ranging from art to design, from furnishing to the wedding sector, to a futuristic vision of home building and living. This event will take place at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Lugano, offering a comprehensive and enriched vision of modern living for a wide and varied audience.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION AND COLLABORATIONS OF EXCELLENCE

Once again this year, the artistic direction of the event is entrusted to the Mendrisio-based Klingenberg Arkitektur studio, known for its strong passion for the Lugano area and lifestyle.

Bjorn Klingenberg, Art Director of Lugano Lifestyle, says: ‘My role is to create an innovative container that hosts this diverse and dynamic content. The intention is to design a space that is not simply a transit area, but an environment where visitors can stay, explore and experience in an immersive and fulfilling way. This requires a setting designed to transform the traditional trade fair experience into a place where they can spend their time and enjoy a different kind of lifestyle.’

To realise this ambitious project, excellent partners such as Viabizzuno have been involved, who will provide high-quality lighting, enriching the exhibition spaces and offering visitors an immersive and innovative experience. The gastronomic part will be taken care of by 1908 Catering, which will guarantee a complete sensory experience with top quality products.

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS AND SPECIAL GUESTS

Lugano Lifestyle will also be enriched by a packed programme of events and conferences, designed to explore the concept of lifestyle in all its facets. Renowned international guests such as Vittorio Sgarbi, Paola Marella and Marcello Foa will participate, together with show business personalities who will entertain and amuse the audience, such as Raul Cremona and mentalist Federico Soldati. In addition, numerous other guests will participate, including internationally renowned architect Peter Pichler, who will offer his vision of the future of architecture. In addition to these guests, the event will host a series of technical talks, designed to engage both the general public and professionals, delving into themes revolving around the home and lifestyle, further enriching the visitors’ experience.

LUGANO LIFESTYLE PRIZE

Lugano Lifestyle will also present the Lugano Lifestyle Prize, an award for ingenuity and craftsmanship that will reward the best projects in the field of design and craftsmanship exhibited at the fair with Fr. 5,000.
