Wooden doors by Albed: a classic for interior design
Elegant and durable, wooden doors are a timeless piece of furniture. A great classic that has been able to renew itself over the years, proving today to be a perfect choice for environments with a different character, whether in residential, hospitality or office contexts. From traditional pantographed wooden doors to more modern flush doors, there are many styles in which this type of product is available. Just as there are many woods and finishes in which it can be made.
Albed, a brand of the Delmonte company that works with aluminium and glass, working alongside architecture and interior design studios all over the world, explores the potential of wood in a wide range of collections, revealing in each one a great concern for nature. In fact, the wood used by the company comes exclusively from forests that guarantee correct and responsible management. And only water-based lacquers are used for the lacquering of the panels to ensure maximum respect for the environment.
Morbida design by Fabrizio Cester
A collection that reinterprets classic solutions thanks to a dynamic and elegant graphic sign
The Morbida collection, designed by Fabrizio Cester, provides a modern reinterpretation of the classics by offering a unique insight into the integration of doors in interior architecture. The aluminum jambs, rounded and projected outward, connect the wall plane with that of the door panel, offering a typical detail of flush realizations while still not betraying the stylistic setting of the traditional classic jamb. Available in different finishes, it can blend in with the wall or create a contrast and thus it characterizes the environment in which it is placed.
In order to allow continuity of the covering surfaces and maximum design freedom, Morbida is compatible with both paneling options offered by Albed: gluing panels and the Albed boiserie system.
Blow design by Karim Rashid
Fluid shapes and high-tech blend into the architecture
The Blow door, designed by Karim Rashid, is characterised by the curved, modelled shape of the panel, which takes on a wave-like form that becomes the handle. Technology becomes a fluid gesture that, thanks to the opening mechanism, fits in harmoniously with the architecture. Available both as a framed and flush hinged door version.
